DoTW Steam page is live!

Sadly, you can't buy the game yet - because I haven't finished it, but the Day of the Worms Steam page has been approved, and is now live - which is nice, and I'm chuffed to have made it to this stage.

The actual process was pretty easy. I paid the dev fee years ago - when I was planning Day of the Worms as a pure Twine text adventure - and the page creation process mainly involved creating screenshots and library images of different sizes.

I'm going to carry on actually making the game in my spare time with an eye to a possible release date in June 2025, and updating the Steam page with screenshots, descriptions, and so on. Of course, this blog will be updated much more frequently and continue to be the home to thoughts, development, images, and frustrations.

Steam Next Fest is in February 2025, so I plan to have a playable demo - complete with music, voice, and sound effects - in time for that.
